Research Interests. My research area is Applied Algebraic Geometry. My work focuses on algebraic methods in optimization, statistics, coding theory and machine learning.
I graduated from Cornell in 2007 under the
direction of Mike
Stillman and went to UC Berkeley as a Morrey Assistant professor under the supervision of David Eisenbud
and
Bernd Sturmfels.
I was a professor at Universidad de los Andes from 2011-2023.
In 2023 I joined the Department of Informatics at Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU)
SIAGA: I am an associate editor for the [SIAM Journal on Applied Algebra and Geometry]. Please do send us your best work! |
